The coffee from Hacienda la Amistad shines not only in the cup, but in its commitment to the environment and community. With the 4,000 hectares in this third-generation coffee farmer’s possession, they dedicated 300 hectares to organic coffee production and most of the rest is forested and teeming with wildlife.

Roasted on the lighter side it gives the coffee a medium body with honeydew melon, lemon zest, and caramel notes. A great morning brew.

Central American coffees may use the term EP (European Prep) to indicate screen size (15-18), in addition to SHB (Strictly Hard Bean), SHG (Strictly High Grown), or HG (High Grown) to refer to the highest grade of coffee based solely on elevation.
